Legit Reviews -- The aluminum hard drive cooler from Ultra is not just eye candy and, as stated on the box, it is highly efficient. The cooler preformed better than I thought it would and in doing it should extend the life of the drive thanks to the lower temperatures. The performance comes at a price though, the MSRP for the cooler is $43, now granted, for that amount of money you're getting a nice part that looks as good as it performs. With a little shopping you should be able to find it for less as PriceGrabber has them starting at $19.99 thanks to a $5 rebate... Direct Link
TweakNews -- With its new hybrid cooling design for the XT, Zalman has lost the traditional silence of the previous Reserator systems, but gained significant cooling performance. The Reserator XT is indeed a worthy successor to the Reserators of the past and boasts easy installation, attractive styling and superb materials and workmanship. Digital monitoring of fluid temperature and fan/pump speed control are welcome features, and the mechanical flow indicator adds a visual confirmation of coolant flow rates as well. Direct Link
Benchmark Reviews -- Ever since Heatpipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology was first introduced in exposed copper heatpipe coolers such as the Zaward VIVO, Xigmatek HDT-S1283, and OCZ Vendetta, overall heatsink sizes have been reduced while the cooling performance has dramatically improved. Not eveyone is a believer in the new cooling technique, and some manufacturers have stuck by their tried-and-true designs. Benchmark Reviews has received the Scythe Mugen 5-Heatpipe CPU Cooler SCINF-1000, and the practice of "bigger is better" will be put to the test. Direct Link
Big Bruin -- After our first review of such a cooler I was left wondering if this design development was really such a good idea, as performance was less than impressive. We're going to give direct touch heatpipe CPU coolers another shot, this time in the form of something from OCZ Technology. They have provided their Vendetta CPU cooler, which looks a good deal like the Kingwin Revolution cooler we reviewed just about a month ago. Direct Link
DV Hardware -- The NF-P12 is a new 120mm fan with several improvements for very silent operation. Noctua claims the NF-P12 has been specifically designed for high-impedance applications such as processor coolers and watercooling rigs and features "psychoacoustic" improvements to make it less annoying to the human ear. Frosty Tech -- The Glacialtech Igloo 5610 PWM is a compact LGA775 Intel heatsink suitable for office work computers. It's 80mm fan is Pulse Width Modulation compliant, so Intel motherboards can direct it to spin only as fast as required (from a low 800RPM to moderately audible 3200RPM), thus keeping unnecessary noise down. Frosty Tech -- In this review PCSTATS is testing out the 19" Samsung Syncmaster 971P LCD display, a sleek glossy black free standing display with great technical specs. The Syncmaster 971P has a bright 250nits luminosity rating, and killer black contrast ratio. Gamers should be happy with its 6ms G-to-G pixel response time, that's certainly quick enough for first person shooters. Direct Link
OCIA -- With the latest designs, many motherboard manufacturers have started producing boards with chipset/mosfet heatsinks onboard, linked together with heatpipes. The HR-09 mosfet cooler was designed for those users with motherboards that either have an ineffective stock chipset/mosfet cooling system, or that don't have one at all. Direct Link
Madshrimps -- Silverstone introduced a compact external water cooling kit, named the Tundra TD01 a while ago, we stress test this silent cooling solution with a hot running P4 as well as a more eco-friendly Celeron CPU. Does it stand a chance against a high end air cooling setup? We'll find out. Direct Link
3D Game Man -- Many might be wondering why spend money on a Video Card with a great cooler only to ripe it off and install an expensive VGA water block. The major reason why is it will cool the GPU and memory substantially better than any VGA cooler on the market. The other reason is noise related. The Radeon 2900XT and 2900Pro Video Cards can be very loud when under maximum load using the cooler. But having a VGA water block installed means it would be completely silent. The Danger Den DD-29XT VGA Water Block it’s a perfect option for a HTPC setup or a silent PC build. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end. Direct Link
Legit Reviews -- What makes the Vendetta unique, is the fact it uses three copper heat pipes that each make direct contact with the processor to ensure the most rapid heat transfer. The 'V' shaped stacked aluminum cooling fins feature dimples that are supposed to add turbulences, thereby reducing the skin effect of laminar air flow. Basically, this CPU cooler was built to tackle heat-induced performance degradation and to solve the cooling challenges of today’s enthusiast system builds... Direct Link
Pro-Clockers -- Well, what Aerocool would like for you to take interest in is their cooler for the Core2 processor titled Silverwind. The Silverwind has a style and shape to it that is kind of unique compared to a lot of current coolers on the block. The extrusion heatsink as Aerocool calls it pulls air down thru the middle of the cooler into an inner set of fins. And then the air………wait you have to click on some more pages before I spill the beans. Direct Link
Techware Labs -- The Thermaltake iXoft is a unique product that combines technology with common sense to deliver a cooler which really works well. We take a look into the concept behind this product and put it to the test under three different environments. Will the iXoft hold up in our tests? Read our review to find out. Direct Link
