Legit Reviews -- SilverStone has a nice case on their hands with the Grandia GD05 HPTC PC case. It is very well built and has a nice finish all the way around. With the shallow depth of the case it will fit in any place you can put a standard set top DVD player. Not having an LCD or an LED display on the front might be a turn off for some users, but those that have had an HTPC before either find themselves using it all the time or never. If you are one of those that don't like to have any illumination coming from the front of your PC the SilverStone GD05B is right up your alley...

 

Pro-Clockers -- The world is cluttered with the dead and dying remains of poorly designed, mass-produced OEM pc cases, but you won’t find one at my place. As a hardware enthusiast I expect more from my cases. There has to be plenty of space inside them. They have to be well-made. Cutting edge innovation isn't necessary, but I do prefer to see some thought going into the making of a case. To be honest, I'm quite tired of the cookie cutter cases some of the industry has been churning out over the last few years. Today I'm reviewing the Silverstone SST-KL03B-w. Will it make the grade? Silverstone is well-known for making quality enclosures, particularly for its high end cases, in both the full-tower and home theatre pc format. Given this pedigree, I expect this case will be no different.

ModTheBox -- For comparison, I placed the SG01 Sugo SFF Case next to Antec's popular Aria mATX Cube Case. Immediately you can see the size difference between two models where the SG01 is much taller and longer length wise. While the size difference may shock a few people and form a few opinions that the SG01 cannot be considered a true SFF, SilverStone has done this for a specific reason. The SG01 is considered a true DIY case where the consumer can design and implement computer parts of their own choosing. While most SFF cases are restricted to PSU units rated under 300 watts, the SG01 allows you to use a full size ATX power supply to meet the demands of power hungry components.

OCModShop -- Overall this is a really good case and would be great for your HTPC or server if you plan on building one. The paint job on this case is amazing and the aluminum bezel will really stand out in your house. The removable motherboard tray and drive cages make installation much easier and faster which is always a good thing. The VFD and bright blue LEDs will add a lot to the case from a functional and aesthetic standpoint. For my project I hope to have it be silent and use no fans, however if needed there is a 60mm exhaust fan as well as a punch-out for an 80mm intake fan below the drive cages.

The tool less rails are easy to use, as well as are the PCI slot clips, allowing larger cards to slide in and out effortlessly.
