Viper Lair -- Overall I think this card and its bundle is fantastic. It sits between the X1800XL and the 7600GT in performance and price, and comes overclocked out of the box. I can't think of any bad points really; the platinum pack is starting to show its age is really the only negative, and thats subjective as to how much it would effect you purchasing this card. It certainly wouldn't stop me. Highly recommended, if you're on the look out for a mid-range card and can spend the little extra over a 7600GT, this card should be on your short list.

Bona Fide Reviews -- With the holidays right around the corner many enthusiasts are in the market for a brand new video card. Some may want the fastest card out there, regardless of its price, which means they would probably want NVIDIA's newest card, the 8800. Others are looking to upgrade their card that they've had for the past 3-4 years and is a couple generations old. They don't want to spend a lot of money but don't want to have to replace their card next year. In their case they will probably want to shoot for a card in the $150-$250 range which means that the X1950 Pro from HIS might just be the card for them.

TweakNews -- For the dollar, this HIS's overclocked version of the X1650XT brings a lot of performance to the table for a small amount of money. There is no manufacturer on the market that gives you more in a mainstream package than HIS. This is why I have grown to respect this company for what they give to their customers in terms of quality and quantity. If you are in the mainstream market for a card, you owe yourself the time to check this card out.

Bjorn3D -- Earlier this year, ATI released the X1900 XT and X1900 XTX GPUs. With 48 rendering pipelines compared to the 24 in the GeForce 7800 GTX and the 16 in the X1800 XT, these GPUs were more than just a spring refresh of the X1800 and gave ATI once again the top spot in the video card market. Plus, it did so at a lower price than its main competitor, the GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB.

techPowerUp -- AMD's next step in their Radeon HD 5000 release strategy is the Radeon HD 5770 which is based on the new 40 nm Juniper core. It features 800 shaders and 1 GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit bus. Essentially this makes the card perform like a HD 4870 but adds new features like DirectX 11, ATI Eyefinity and reduced power consumption.
