MSI HD 5830 Twin Frozr II

techPowerUp -- MSI's HD 5830 Twin Frozr II uses a shiny metal heatsink that comes with two fans to keep the card cool. In our testing we see nice overclocking potential of around 20% which can easily bring the card to new performance levels.

MSI RX600XT-TD128E

PC Modding Malaysia -- Overall, MSI made a pretty decent graphics card with the RX600XT. I liked the bundled items that came in the package and the fancy packaging. Nevertheless, the performance to price ratio of the RX600XT makes it fall behind Nvidia’s 6600GT offering. Considering that the RX600XT is sold close to a 6600GT, I would not recommend you to buy a RX600XT. Besides that, our sample also overclocked fairly well and we did notice performance increase in benchmarks. So if you’re not into hardcore gaming and looking for a reasonably good card for your PCI-E setup, the RX600XT might just be the right card for you.

MSI NX7800GTX-VT2D256E SLI

PCStats -- MSI videocards are traditionally some of the best on the market, largely because the company bundles the most value into its products by including lots and lots of extras. The MSI NX7800GTX-VT2D256E PCI Express videocards we'll be testing in this review, in single and SLI mode, each come with a full version of the highly popular "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay" video game.

MSI R4850-T2D512 512MB

Viper Lair -- Pretty much any game you play will allow for a minimum of 2xMSAA with virtually no hit to the FPS so graphical quality has a good start to begin with. The quad-pipe cooling setup does very well, keeping things cool and quiet; we saw a maximum load temperature of only 58C when overclocked and while we could hear the card, we had to stop to listen for it specifically among the other sounds of our watercooled test system. At idle the card is silent. The cooling solution also looks great in an industrial fashion and the pipework and clear plastic approach makes it a great accessory in a watercooled setup even if the card itself isn't watercooled.

MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE Geforce 7950GX2

PCStats -- The MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE is the definition of high end gaming hardware! The MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE videocard is based on the nVidia reference design, which is a combination of two separate videocard PCBs which have been stacked together to form a two-slot device. There are two GeForce 7950GX2 GPUs, each with 512MB of memory for a total of 1GB dedicated to all things graphical rendering. MSI's NX7950GX2-T2D1GE slips delicately into a single PCI Express x16 slot, but occupies two case bracket spaces. It has one TV-output connector and two DVI connectors, analog to digital adaptors are included. The card supports component output and S-Video output. The GeForce 7950GX2 GPU has the same features; 24 pixel rendering pipelines, 8 vertex pipelines, 256bit memory controller, etc., however the core and memory clock speeds are set slightly lower.

The MSI NX7900GT-VT2D256E-HD videocard is backed up by 256MB of high speed GDDR3 memory. The videocard supports a whole host of TV output options including S-Video, Composite, Component output (Y, Pb, Pr) and the NX7900GT-VT2D256E-HD is also HDMI compatible if a DVI-to-HDMI cable is used. The videocard supports video input as well, which truely makes the MSI NX7900GT-VT256E-HD one of the best multimedia cards around on paper.

MSI GeForce N275GTX

TweakTown -- When we looked at the GTX 260 Lightning from MSI recently it was really a bit of a mixed bag. On the performance side of things we really liked the card; the aftermarket cooling option that MSI opted for was also really good. On the other side we thought the AirForce Panel proved to be more of a pain than anything else and what we didn't like was that in order to achieve the highest speed MSI advertised you needed to install their own OC software. Really, at the end of it all, though, the GTX 260 we saw from MSI offered some serious performance and for the most part that's the most important feature for so many users. While that model was part of the Lightning series, it was a special Black Edition as well. Today we're going to be looking at the GTX 275 that sits in the same series, but isn't part of the Black Edition line up.
