EVGA E761 X58 SLI Classified

Legit Reviews -- What is there to say? The EVGA X58 E761 Classified is like an over-the-top blockbuster movie; it wows you on all fronts all the while costing an arm and a leg to produce. Core i7 is a new processor and motherboard and BIOS engineers are still figuring it out, but the team at EVGA has clearly stumbled across something to be able to release a board that pushes these chips past the notorious 220MHz base clock wall. This board reminds me a lot of the Asus LGA775 Rampage Extreme, except the Rampage Extreme came so late in the game... Direct Link

Enermax Aurora Micro Aluminum Keyboard

OCModShop -- Some users just like really tiny keybaords. Personally I am an ergonominc fan, so the wider my hands can be apart, the better. For those who like tiny keyboards (programmers love them for some odd reason), then you'll be glad to know that there's finally one that's built like a tank: the Enermax Aurora Micro. This review was actually written using this keyboard entirely, in addition to some all-day testing. At first look, the keyboard is very attractive. While the bottom of the keyboard is a sturdy plastic, the top frame is brushed aluminum, which has been anodized pitch black. Direct Link

Patriot Torqx 128GB Indlinx MLC Solid State Disk

TweakTown -- Patriot had a very successful run with the Warp Series drives, some of the most sought after JMicron based products that routinely outperformed products from competing SSD manufacturers. In order to distinguish the JMicron drives from the new Indilinx controlled drives, Patriot needed to let go of the Warp product name. The first press release announced the new drive as the Fusion, but in a last minute decision the name was changed to Torqx. While other companies were rushing to get media and e-tailers their Indilinx SSDs, Patriot was scrambling to get the new packaging ready and the Torqx drives had to sit in a warehouse. With everything finally lining up correctly Patriot is now on a mission to show that with patience comes a superior product. Direct Link

Western Digital AV-GP 2TB Hard Drive

Motherboards.org -- Overall this drive tested very well and had the highest write times of all the drives tested in this review. Seek and read times I think are really the most important times to be concerned with, as that is what we are usually doing with the drive, seeking and retrieving information off of it. The WD AV-GP 2TB is very competitive within the realm it is trying to sell in and should be gobbled up by the consumer market. All things considered, the WD AV-GP 2TB ran, cool, quiet and efficient, as well as being performance savvy for a drive in this class. The 32Mb Cache Buffer makes a big improvement and it's a good thing WD added that additional 16Mb to this line, as it does show better read times than even the standard 10,000RPM Raptor. I give the new WD AV-GP 2TB Drive an Editor's Choice award as it's the highest capacity drive of its kind and is priced at about $249.00 on the web, which is not bad at all. Direct Link
